Ranbir kapoor Bollywood actor

Year 2007 saw the surge of Suave Ranbir Kapoor in the Tinsel Town, who with his debut movie Saawariya, won millions of hearts and bagged the Best Debutante of the Year award. Born in the legacy of great grand father Prithviraj Kapoor, Grand father Raj Kapoor, father Rishi kapoor and mother as Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir,amongst the fourth generation in the Kapoor Family truly fulfilled all the hyped expectations surrounding this new kid on the blocks.

He was born on 28th september'1982 in Mumbai. His early lessons were learnt at the Bombay Scottish School in Mahim and subsequently went to the Lee strasberg theatre and film institute in New York to pursue method acting.

His stint in Bollywood started as an Assistant Director under Sanjay Leela Bhansali during the making of Black. Although his first movie Saawariya was not a commercial success at the box office but it claimed enough critical acclaim for the debutante. The next year caught sight of Ranbir in Siddhart Anand's Bachana Ae Haseeno, where he was paired opposite three leading ladies-Bipasha Basu, Minisha Lamba and Deepika Padukone. It was during the shooting of this movie that Ranbir and Deepika Padukone fell in love with each other and started to date.

The year 2009 has Ajab Prem ki Gajab Kahani, Wake up sid and Rajneeti slated for releases, providing enough reasons of excitement for Ranbir Fans.

The living legend Rajesh Khanna

Rajesh Khanna was born on December 29, 1942 in Amritsar. Rajesh Khanna is the Dada Saheb Phalke Legend Golden Actor Award and the IIFA 2009 Life Time Achievement Award winner.

Rajesh Khanna joined the film industry after winning an All India Talent Contest. Numerous songs sung by Kishore Kumar in the 1970s were based on Rajesh Khanna and were mostly composed by R.D.Burman.

Rajesh Khanna had 15 hits between 1969 to 1972, which is still an unbreakable record in Indian film. The late-1970s and early-1980s caused the decline of Rajesh Khanna's career in terms of box office ratings to some extent.

Rajesh Khanna met with more success in challenging roles with critically acclaimed box office hits such as Amardeep, Thodi Si Bewafai, Dard, Dhanwaan, Avtaar, Agar Tum Na Hote, Souten.

In the early 90's Rajesh Khanna stopped acting and served as an M.P. of New Delhi Constituency from 1991 to 1996. The actor made a come back in films with Aa Ab Laut Chalen in 1999, and Kyaa Dil Ne Kahaa in 2002.

Rajesh Khanna is now the life member of International Film And Television Club and International Film and Television Research Center of Asian Academy Of Film and Television.

Shahrukh Khan-Biography

The talented actor Shahrukh Khan was born on November 2, 1965. Shahrukh Khan began his career appearing in several television serials in the late 80s. SRK made his film debut in Deewana 1992. During his years in the Indian film industry, Shahrukh Khan has won 13 Filmfare Awards, 7 of which are in the Best Actor category.

Shahrukh Khan's films such as Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge that came in 1995, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which came with a blast in 1998, Chak De India a 2007 film, Om Shanti Om that followed in the same year and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi which was released in 2008 remain some of Bollywood's biggest hits, while films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), Veer-Zaara (2004) and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006) have been top-grossing Indian productions in the overseas markets, making him one of the most successful actors of India.

Since 2000, Shahrukh Khan branched out into film production and television presenting as well. In 2006, SRK collaborated with Karan Johar for the fourth time with the melodrama movie Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.

Actor's second release that year saw him playing the title role in the action film Don, a remake of the 1978 hit Don. The movie was a success. As of 2009, Shahrukh Khan is filming My Name Is Khan, due for a February 2010 release.
