He was born on May 30, in 1950, he is having Gujrati background, with his outstanding acting talent he has made his unique position among masses. He was born in Jasalpur, Gujarat India, h tied a knot with Swaroop Sampat who won Miss India Contest in 1979, this couple has two sons Anirudh and Aditya. He came to Mumbai at an age of 22, basically he wanted to be a civil engineer but destiny has written something else for him.
