Amjad Khan "Gabbar Singh"

He is the Gabbar Singh of bollywood, and has done unforgettable roles
in Hindi movies, he is an acclaimed actor of Indian film industry yes
he is Amjad Khan, born on 12 November 1940 and left the world on 27
July 1992, he has worked in around 130 films in twenty years, he
gained so much of popularity in the role of villain in Hindi movies,
and his most memorable role in the movie sholay as "Gabbar Singh".



Amjad Khan was born in Hyderabad, his parents were Muslim, his father
was legendary actor Jayant, as a child artist he apeared in the movie
Ab Dili Dur Nahin, he is from Peshawar, Pakistan. He has done his
schooling at St Theresa's High School, Bandra, then he attended R D
National College, Bandra, well he was very famous as "dada" being
heavyweight.

He tied knot with Sheila Khan, he has two sons and one daughter, his
son Shadaab Khan,acted in few films, Amjad Khan also assisted K. Asif
in the movie Love and God, finally in the year 1973 he made his
debut with the movie Hindustan Ki Kasam. His dialogue in the movie
Sholay is still very popular today screen as his evil character is
totallu unforgettable, "Arre O' Sambha, Kitne Aadmi The".

Amjad Khan had an accident on the Bombay-Goa road, in the year 1976,
the drugs he take to recover made him over weight for the rest of his
life, resultantly the death in the year 1992 suffering from a heart
failure at the age of 51.
