Rishi Kapoor

His nick name is Chintu, was born on 4 September 1952 , son of
legendary Raj Kapoor yes he is Rishi kapoor very talented bollywood
actor, director and producer. He was born in Mumbai, his brothers are
Randhir Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor. He belongs to punjabi hindu khatri
origin. He is an uncle of Karisma and Kareena, and a proud father of
Ranbir and Riddhima kapoor.



He knocked the doors of bollywood with the movie Mera Naam Joker in
1970, where he played his father role as a child, in the year 1973 his
popular film Bobby became an instant hit among youngsters, he was
casted with Dimple Kapadia, he has done wonderful roles in hundreds of
movies, his filmy journey is so long as till the year 2000 he appeared
as a leading romantic hero.

After that he switched to supporting roles in the movies like Hum Tum
(2004) and year 2006 came with Fanaa, he is director of the movie Aa
Ab Laut Chalen that came in the year 1998, his movie Saagar was sent
to Oscars in which he acted with the veteran actor Kamal Haasan , very
recently he performed in the movie Namaste London along with that he
did an English-language film named Don't Stop Dreaming.

Rishi tied the knot with bollywood actress Neetu Singh, in the year
1974 he won Filmfare Best Actor Award for Bobby and in the year
2008 he came out with Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award.
