A legendary actor in Indian film industry, Rajendra Kumar was born on 20 July 1929 in Sialkot in Punjab. He is one of the most successful actor in 1960's and 70's. Rajendra Kumar made his debut in the movie Jogan with the prominent co-stars DIlip Kumar and Nargis.
He had many successful box office hits including Dhool Ka Phool, ,Mere Mehboob, Sangam, Arzoo and many more. Rajendra Kumar was honoured with the Padma Shri Award, received Special National Award for his Charitable work.
He married with Shukla and had a son Kumar Gaurav who is also an actor and producer. He died on 12 July 1999 because of Cancer and he has never ever taken medicines in his entire life.
