The renowned name in bollywood film industry Mithun Chakraborty, was born in Bengali family in Kolkata on 16 June 1950. He has completed his graduation from Scottish Chruch, College Kolkata, and he attended classes for acting from Film and Television of India, Pune, to get more perfection in acting.
Mithun made his first debut movie in 1976 Mrigaya directed by Mrinal Sen and won National Film Award for best Actor, after this he has done number of movies and got success on his every movies like Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan. He came into fame from his disco dance, he was famous for his ultimate dance.
He got married with Indian film actress Yogita Bali and they have four children. Two son and daughter. His elder son Memoh is also a bollywood star, he made his debut with Jimmy. There was rumour that Mithun and Sridevi, famous bollywood actress got married by after sometime it came to know that it was just anulled.
