Shreyas was born and brought up in Mumbai on 27 January1976, he has completed his schooling from Shree Ram Welfare Society's High School. Shreyas is a famous theatre artist, he has played awesome role in Marathi theatre across the Maharastra, before enteing in the bollywood industry he worked in many Marathi soap opera, and get name and fame.
His debut bollywood movies was Iqbal with Nageash Kukunoor, in which he played a aspiring lead role as a deaf cricketer, movie was alike by auidence and it was good on box office also. After that he worked in many movies with the prominent actors, directors like Apna Sapna Money Money, Om Shanti Om, Welcome to Sajianour, Golmal Returns and many super hit movies on box office.
For his awesome performance in the movie he was nominated and received many awards like Best Actor for his debut movie, Star Screen Award , Filmfare Best Male Debut Award. He married with Deepti Talpade and he met her at his college fest.
